Useful potions:
1. Swiftness potion - Increases run speed by 50% for 15 seconds. (1 min global CD)
2. Haste potion - Increases haste rating by 400 for 15 seconds. (1 min global CD)
3. Living Action potion - Makes you immune to Stun and Movement Impairing effects for the next 5 sec. Also removes existing Stun and Movement Impairing effects. (1 Min global CD)
4. Invisibility potion - Gives the user invisibility for 18 sec. (10 min global CD)
These potions are extremely useful in PVP, BG-s, and even running away from a large group of chasing mobs. Most of them share a short global CD, thus they can be bought in bulk and constantly used.
For those classes that don't have a lot of movement-boosting effects or immunities, these are essential (shaman player speaking).
Combining Swiftness potion + Nitro Boost boosts is a pretty sweet combo.
You can make macros that include certain combos, such as Paladin = Avenging Wrath + Haste potion.
You should be careful with the Invisibility potion as, while it does make you invisible, you can't see other players either, and you cannot use it in combat. It's good for sneaking in and stealing a flag tho
They can be easily found and bought at the Potions vendor in the Mall, right next to the building that houses Glyph/Gem/Enchants NPC-s.
Useful Elixirs:
1. Swiftness of Zanza - Increases the player's run speed by 20% for 2 hrs. (Guardian Elixir - 2 min CD)
2. Sheen of Zanza - Increases the chance that the player will reflect hostile spells cast on them by 3% for 2 hrs. Will automatically reflect the first offensive spell cast against the user. Only one type of Zanza potion may be active at any given time. (Guardian Elixir - 2 Min CD)
Both of these are useful, as they are 2 hr long buffs.
Swiftness is useful for speed-running dungeons, getting away from other hostile players, and all-in-all a sweet choice.
Sheen doesn't sound too much of a help, but those 3% certainly come in handy. Can't do anything while those casters and ranged DPS melt you down? Should probably reflect some of that back at them. The first offensive spell is guaranteed
Be careful as you can only have the effect of one Zanza potion at a time.
You can also only have 1 stack of these elixirs in your backpack, so the best option is to buy an elixir, drink it right away and then buy another one for safekeeping.
