Where exactly in the description does it say you can wield x2 2-h staves?
Titan's Grip allows you to equip two-handed axes, maces, and swords in one hand. The skill description doesn't specify staves, polearms, and other weapons.
Mages in general are only capable of wielding a 2-hand staff, or something along the lines of a 1-handed dagger/sword + offhand of their choice, like a lantern/orb or whatever it is they wield.
Dual Wield on the other hand, heh notice the pun, grants you the ability to carry and wield a second weapon in your off-hand. So, in this case, you are granted the capability of using 2x 1-handed swords/staffs/daggers, etc.
In conclusion, you can wield a 1x 2-h + 1x 1-h staves combo, but not 2x 2-h staves. Correct me if I'm wrong tho.
